Tum Tailor (1990-an)

Sekitar tahun 1990-an, kedai jahit Tum Tailor telah berpindah dari premis asalnya di Bangunan UDA, Jalan Pantai Baru, Kuala Lumpur, ke premis 2 tingkat beralamat di No. 4, Jalan 1/4, Bandar Baru Bangi. Pada Ogos 2003, ia berpindah ke Alamanda Putrajaya. Pada Ogos 2007, Tum Tailor berpindah pula dari Alamanda ke bangunan 3 tingkat yang dibeli di Seksyen 9, Pusat Bandar Baru Bangi, dan kekal beroperasi sehingga kini: “After almost three years of opening a branch in the complex Alamanda Putrajaya, now Tum Tailor thought perfection to its customers by taking an alternative to transfer the new branch to the new building he bought in Pusat Bandar Baru Bangi, Seksyen 9. The new building is a three-storey shop. Here Tum Tailor can add effectiveness and implementation services to its customers to more fully and to maximize production at some time. In 2007, Tum Tailor been celebrating it the 31. In conjunction with that, Tum Tailor officially began operations at a new three-storey building at the end of August 2007. Some restructuring and planning that has been planned in improving quality of service to customers. Where the ground floor will be exhibition space for the fabric of wool, linen and cotton from Italy as well as for online menswear. While the first floor, is a book for women's clothing and new business offices Tum Tailor where previously the branch Dayabumi Complex, Kuala Lumpur. • 1977: Tum Tailor ditubuhkan oleh Tuan Haji Tugimen bin Mukiar, anak jati Benut, Johor. Premis asalnya ialah di Bangunan UDA, Jalan Pantai Baru, Kuala Lumpur: “Founded in about 1977, Tum Tailor is a sole proprietorship company by Tuan Haji Tugimen bin Mukiar. He is also a pure child Benut, Johor Darul Takzim. He started his business in Bangunan UDA, Jalan Pantai Baru Kuala Lumpur around the 70's.”
  
  ““Dulu masa mula-mula saya ceburi bidang jahitan ini, sampai malam raya saya masih lagi menjahit baju raya kerana menerima tempahan yang banyak. Terlalu seronok menerima tempahan sampaikan tidak sedar sudah sampai malam raya. “Tapi Alhamdulillah, semua pelanggan saya berjaya mendapatkan tempahan mereka sebelum menyambut Aidilfitri. Saya akan siapkan juga tidak kira masa kerana sudah mengambil tempahan daripada pelanggan. “Malah ada satu tahun, ada pelanggan yang telefon saya untuk ambil baju tempahan mereka, saya sudah berada di kampung pun masa itu. • 1984: Cawangan dibuka di Kompleks Dayabumi, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, Kuala Lumpur: “In 1984, he opened a branch in Dayabumi Complex, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city center. This business is based in the manufacturing of online sewing clothes, uniforms, corporate clothing, clothing ritual ceremonies like the ceremony and so on. Starting with three employees, including cutter of his own and now has approximately 35 existing employees.”

• 1990-an: Perpindahan dari Bangunan UDA, Jalan Pantai Baru, ke premis 2 tingkat di No.4, Jalan 1/4, Seksyen 1, Bandar Baru Bangi, yang telah dibeli dari PKNS: “Year after year the online spaces promote and require a more perfect place to run and put the garments available. Therefore, the management has decided to re-establish operations in the Bangunan UDA, Jalan Pantai Baru to place even greater in Section 1, Bandar Baru Bangi. The new building has been purchased from the developer PKNS. Starting at this new operation, many problems can be resolved more quickly than the old place. 2-storey shop can accommodate about 17 people where two of the cutter, two people in the packaging and execution of clothing, a person as manager operations and 12 as a production operator. Therefore, all operations can run smoothly and orderly, and further enhance the production more productive.”

• 2003 (Ogos): Pembukaan cawangan di Kompleks Beli Belah Alamanda, Putrajaya. Lokasi ini membuka peluang perniagaan dengan jabatan-jabatan kerajaan di sekitar Putrajaya, serta syarikat swasta di sekitar Seri Kembangan, Puchong, dan Dengkil: “In August 2003, Tum Tailor has expanded its business by opening another branch in a shopping complex Alamanda Putrajaya. Thus with the second branch in addition to the Dayabumi Complex, Kuala Lumpur, Tum Tailor can increase sales and strengthen its brand on par with the famous brands available in Alamanda Putrajaya. Here Tum Tailor find new customers, especially in government offices around putrajaya and private companies in the vicinity of Seri Kembangan, Puchong and Dengkil. With this second branch, customers do not have to face traffic congestion in Kuala Lumpur to book their clothes. Tum Tailor has changed to Tum Tailor Sdn. Bhd. Given a few things that must be followed to obtain the contract (tender) for which recognizes companies in the business name and also meet other conditions.”
