| | //"BUKIT TONGGU RESERVE. Visited 16th. March. The reserve contains a steep razor backed hill running from north to south, and with a narrow undulating top, on an average only about thirty yards wide. No work has been begun there yet, and it is under the Forest Guard of the Bangi Reserve. The reserve seems to be evenly stocked with first class trees meranti being especially noticeable. Taban was not noticed but getah grit occurred at intervals. The steep sides of the hill had very little undergrowth and care must be exercised in felling as re-stocking them may be a difficult matter. At present they have a closed canopy of dominant trees. The foot of the hill on the north and west is bounded by a swamp and the S. Semenyih.
